Brinton Phillips

Brin has worked in the Food, Health & Safety and Environmental Health profession for over 25 years and currently working with Brockside-Augur as a ‘Hands-On’ specialist advisor for a select number of large organizations. Brin has previously worked at senior management levels for numerous ‘Blue Chip’ organisations including Amazon as EU Health & Safety Director, Compass Group Plc as HSE Director for Central Asia, Middle East, Africa and Compass UK as well as working for BP, and Safeway. Brin started his professional Career as an Engineer before moving to Liverpool City Council and then Delyn Borough Council as an Environmental Health practitioner before for joining the commercial sector. He also has extensive international experience having lived and worked in Azerbaijan and the UAE as well as numerous assignments in Algeria, Botswana, Colombia, Egypt, India, Kazakhstan, South Africa, Qatar to name just a few. Whilst in local Government he acted as a consultant to the Department of Health and an advisor and member of the Food Hygiene working Group for the Local Authority Coordinating Body for Food and Trading Standards (Now LACORS). Brin has also published numerous research papers in peer reviewed journals and presented many papers on food safety issues and has been a visiting lecturer to a number of universities. Brin has been a Director and council member of SOFHT for 9 years and is also a Fellow of the Institute of Food Science Technology, a Fellow of the Royal Society of Public Health as well as being a Chartered Member of the Institute of Environmental Health/Chartered Environmental Health Practitioner and as such is excellently placed to meet your needs.
